made for readjusting matters relating to jurisdiction over

subjects of Kis Kajesty in china;

And whereas it is provided by the said Treaty that the

jurisdiction which by Treaty, grant, usage, sufferance and

other lawful moans Hle Eajesty the King has within the

dominions of the Republic of China shall continue to the

extent and in the conditions there specified;

And whereas it is accordingly exps ient to provide for

the exercise of the mid jurisdiction;

Now, therefore, His Majesty, by virtue and in exercise

of the powers in this behalf by the Foreign Jurisdiction

Aots,1090 and 1913, or otherwise in His la jesty vested, is

pleased by and with the advice of Hie Privy Council to order,

and it is hereby ordered as follows:-

1. This order my be cited as "The China Order in

Council,193 ", and ahall (without prejudice to such of its

provisions as relate to the China (Kashgar) order in council. 1926, and the china (Kashgar)(Amenisont) order in council,

1922, and the area within the li its thereof) be read as one

with the Chime Order in Council,1925, the Jing (Amendment}

Order in Joune11,1927, and The Jhina (Amendment) order in

Council,1926)

which Orders are hereinafter together called

the "Principel Order"
